About Anita Stamati

Anita Stamati is a contemporary collage artist whose work explores memory, symbolism and visual storytelling through layered compositions and reconstructed imagery.

Working with found photographs, printed materials and mixed media elements, she transforms fragments into new visual narratives. Her practice is driven by the process of deconstruction and reconstruction, allowing ordinary images to acquire new meanings and emotional resonance.

Through collage, she investigates themes of identity, imagination, absence and transformation, creating poetic compositions that invite viewers to engage with multiple interpretations.
