Annietober (Noun): An Annie-ism that incorporates the entire month of October into one enormous celebration of all things Annie!

This definition was created for Annie’s Annietober-themed Bat Mitzvah and best describes how Annie loved to celebrate her birthday month.  To honor that, we have chosen to continue celebrating in October, with local restaurants selling Annie’s favorite salad, cocktail specials in honor of her 21st birthday and pink treats around town.  Local stores and restaurants will be holding fundraising days where they will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Cycle for Survival, as well as online shopping opportunities.  There will be Gift of Life bone marrow registry swab drives, and of course, Annie’s Famous Cookies will be for sale.  We believe the best way to remember Annie is to live like she did, with lots of celebrating and lots of good deeds!

Everyone who helps us in our mission to raise money and awareness for Cycle for Survival and Gift of Life is now a part of Annie's Army.  Annie was very involved with both organizations, and we know that by supporting them we can help many people beat cancer, and hopefully also end cancer as we know it.  We hope that you will enlist and join us in the battle, and help us win this war!
