Annie and the Fur Trappers are a Boston based traditional jazz band. The band features 7 instruments, including trumpet, trombone, clarinet, vocals, banjo, guitar, bass, and drums. Annie and the Fur Trappers are very popular amongst Lindy Hop dancers, and have traveled all over the country playing swing dances to adoring audiences! The band started in St. Louis, MO, but has evolved since reforming in Boston. Leader Annie Linders brings the authentic sounds of the 1920s and the bluesey sound that she brought from St. Louis. If you are a fan of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, or Tuba Skinny, you are sure to like this band!
