GONG "GANGSA"
Gong or "Gangsa" is a flat instrument made of bronze or brass. For Igorots, it is a symbol of tradition and unity in cultural events like weddings and dances. Its sound connects people to their heritage and the world around them.
"WANES"
It highlights the traditional clothing of the Igorot people, showcasing their rich cultural heritage. The red, black, and white woven patterns represent their identity and connection to their land. Men wear the "wanes," a traditional loincloth and also a "Tsaliko". These garments are both symbolic, often worn during dances, rituals, and celebrations.
