Celeste Marko achieved the title of Certified Nutritional Practitioner at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where she completed over 690 hours of nutrition principles and practices. She also has a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell.
Her use of holistic nutrition views food as more than just macronutrients and calories, but rather as powerful tools to build and support life-long health. Celeste is constantly upgrading her knowledge of, and skills in, holistic nutrition and maternal-infant nutrition.
Holistic nutrition uses whole foods and supplementation, where needed, to get to the root of the issue, instead of smothering the symptom as we see all too often with modern medicinal approaches. While there is always a place for modern medicine, many of the most common issues that plague our daily lives are completely treatable with proper nutrition.
Whether you have questions about your breast milk or about your baby's first solids, you may have concerns around such issues as:
Ways to increase milk production
Colic and allergies
Transitioning onto solid foods
Foods to include and foods to avoid
Cow's milk after weaning
Celeste can help answer and resolve all of these issues and more. She can also provide suggestions for safe nutritional solutions to ease any discomforts you or your baby may be experiencing.
Celeste Marko achieved her diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition, recognized and approved by two of Canada’s respected educational standards bodies: the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) and the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). CNPs are educated partners qualified to devise a personalized health scheme that integrates and honours the physical, emotional, environmental and spiritual aspects of an individual’s life.
