Artist's Statement

Beautiful California Orange Poppies opening in the morning outside my door. Friends, children, people and impersonal QR code pattern in the background. Contrast of: soft people shape/rigid QR code geometric shapes. Contrast with my computer name, date and my personal first name scribbled. Happy colors of poppies somber black color of people. Poppies and people the same size in this art reality. Drawn on an ipad, sent to a 3D printer, choosing the colors, adding, correcting colors after it is printed.
