BIO

Anne-Hélène and Bernard are world-renowned Swing and Blues dance specialists, whom they have been dancing and teaching for over 20 years. Over the years, they have also worked as choreographers and performers.

The adventure began at the end of 1997, when they discovered Lindy Hop. Falling in love with the energy and charm that emanate from this dance, they very quickly stood out on the French and then international scene thanks to their style both fluid and controlled, which benefits from the talent and training of Anne-Hélène in classical and modern-jazz dance, as well as the sense of rhythm of Bernard, blues musician.

From 2001, they became teachers to pass on their passion, and took part in the largest international Festivals in France, throughout Europe, and around the world: Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand and all of Asia. .

Today, after having created and directed the Studio Hop in Toulouse for 20 years, leading regular classes, workshops and creating world-renowned festivals (European Balboa Festival, Studio Hop Summer Camp, The Battle, Toulouse Blues Marathon, etc.) , they create a new place of life and artistic creation: Green Swing & Blues, in the Gers. An old farmhouse, which they are gradually transforming into an ecological and self-sufficient place, with dance halls, concerts, and accommodation. They run courses and various events there.

20 years later, their passion is still there. They continue to seek, exchange and work with the world's greatest dancers and technicians, and train the new generation of dancers and teachers. Recognized for their fluid and harmonious style, their creativity, their musicality, the balance of the couple but also their humor, they transmit with a great sense of pedagogy a teaching that is both precise and personal, through a new way of teaching. explain and make feel the movements. Their goal is to make these dances they love so much accessible to everyone.
