Anne-chie Wang is Assistant Professor at the Graduate Institute of Humanities in Medicine, Taipei Medical University. Her research sits at the intersection of medical sociology and Science and Technology Studies, with a focus on end-of-life care, hospice practices, and the sociology of death and dying in Taiwan. Drawing on multi-year ethnographic fieldwork, she examines how good death is negotiated among medical professionals, patients, and families. Her work has appeared in Catalyst: Feminism, Theory, and Technoscience and Taiwanese Journal of Sociology, among others.
