About Anne

Growing up in Germany, Anne discovered yoga in the 1990s through her love for books and philosophy, beginning her journey with Kundalini. Soon, yoga became an integral part of her life to ease anxiety and stress. Taking the playful, dynamic aspects from the practice, she soon moved on to study Ashtanga and Vinyasa, enjoying the challenges and benefits of each style.

Anne moved to London in 2011, where she completed her 250hr teacher training with Erin Pritchard in January 2019. Her “German efficiency” is reflected in gentle, thorough assists and a focus on alignment. In her classes, you can expect an energising flow with relaxing meditation and a pinch of Buddhist and Yogic philosophy, taught to a carefully curated soundtrack. With a focus on yoga for stress, anxiety and mental health, Anne encourages her students to lead with their breath and listen to their bodies, thus improving their flexibility, along with their general outlook on life.

Her classes aim to be inclusive and are as such open for all levels, where a complete beginner can enjoy their practice alongside a seasoned yogi. She currently teaches Yinyasa Flow & Meditation in London.
