BACKGROUND
BACKGROUND
I grew up in PA—in the suburbs of Philly and later Lancaster—but I now live in Massachusetts. Outside of school, I love listening to and playing music, painting nature scenes, drawing in pen-and-ink, and going on hiking adventures with friends and family.
GOALS
GOALS
After graduating from Tufts University, I will be pursuing a graduate degree in Acoustics at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I'm interested in studying auralization of performance spaces, music recording and production, and data-to-listener-preference correlation. I aim to develop innovative solutions that let people improve and enjoy their relationship with sound, and to participate in projects that allow me to have meaningful, collaborative experiences.
I also value community engagement. I plan to support young women and people of color through mentoring programs, and hope to someday be a source of advice and inspiration to young students, as my mentors are for me.
