In front of the Theatre of Marcellus, in Rome.
My name is Anna Carolina Dutra Saraiva, welcome to my website. I am a PhD student in Economics at Stanford University. My main interests are Economic History, Labor Economics and Applied Microeconomics.
Previously, I did my Bachelor's in Economics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), in Brazil. I later attended the Master's in Economics and Social Sciences at Università Bocconi, in Italy. I have also worked at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, under Professor Ran Abramitzky.
Throughout my life I've been lucky to have amazing mentors and friends who have encouraged my curiosity. In this spirit, if you have any questions about economics, pursuing higher education, or anything else, I would love to share my experience if it's helpful in some way.
I am a huge art, history and dog lover. I would also love to talk about any of those.
Feel free to send me a message at annacds@stanford.edu
