Q: Can you explain logistics for the night?
Students will be transported to and from the party by bus. Buses will depart approximately 30 minutes after the graduation ceremony ends. Return buses will leave the party around 4:00 a.m. and arrive at the FRONT of AHS at approximately 4:30 a.m.
Bags
Students should bring any bag they plan to have at the party to the bag check (located in the high school art room) when they arrive for the graduation ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Each bag will be tagged with the student’s assigned number and transported to the venue.
All bags must be checked in before the start of the graduation ceremony.
Bags are not allowed on the bus to the party.
If your student would like to change clothes before leaving for the party, please provide a separate bag for those items. Most students choose to change after arriving at the party due to time constraints following the ceremony, but this is a personal preference. Please remember that no bags will be allowed on the bus from the high school to the party.
Q: Is there a theme? What should they bring with?
Wear your best Hawaiian Beach Party Attire!
The pool, gym, and rock climbing wall will be open, so bring your swimsuit, towel, necessary toiletries, athletic clothing, and shoes.
Q: What does it cost? And what is included?
The cost per senior is $60. Make checks payable to Annandale All Night Grad Party. This helps with tranportation, food (dinner, snacks, beverages), games, prizes (every graduate receives a prize of at least $50 in value), decorations, entertainment, and exclusive rental of the building (including pool, climbing wall, gym).
We do not want any senior to miss out due to the fee so please email angparty876@gmail.com or contact the chair, Melissa Paulson (320) 980-6200 if financial assistance is needed.
Q: What else do they get to do?
We don't want to reveal all of the fun! The pool, climbing rock wall, and gym are a small portion of the activities. If you have a student who needs more information prior to the event, please reach out to the chair, Melissa Paulson (320) 980-6200.
Q: Why do they have to check in their bags?
To help maintain security and prevent items from being left behind after graduation, all student bags must be checked in prior to the ceremony and will be transported separately to the party venue. Bags will not be permitted on the buses. Please ensure your graduate arrives with enough time to check in their bag before graduation begins. Bag check will open at 6:00 p.m. in the Art Room.
Q: How do they get there? Can they drive themselves?
Students will be transported by bus from Annandale High School to the community center immediately following the graduation ceremony. Students are not permitted to drive to or from the party, and those in attendance must remain at the event for its duration.
Buses will return students to Annandale High School on Saturday morning at approximately 4:30 a.m. For safety reasons, students must be picked up at the high school upon arrival and may not drive themselves home.
If you need to make special arrangements to pick up your student from the party or transport them to the event, please contact us in advance.
Q: I have a question, who can I talk to?
Please email angparty876@gmail.com or contact the chair, Melissa Paulson (320) 980-6200.
