Annamaria Mazzoni

I am an environmental economics researcher, with a decade of experience within international scientific institutions in both the United States and Qatar. My research areas encompass environmental economics, climate change and sustainability, Water-Food-Energy security, and energy transition. 

Through a convergence of personal, academic, and professional interests, I have developed substantial experience in the Southwest Asia and North Africa SWANA region, particularly in understanding its geopolitics and markets. I mix quantitative and qualitative skills, to translate technical and scientific outcomes into actionable market insights and policy recommendations. 

My overarching objective is to promote sustainability and drive change by effectively bridging the gap between scientific research, practical applications, and policy implementation.
