I chose to work on global revisions across my investigative field essay because I realized that the structure and clarity of my argument needed to be strengthened in a way that surface-level edits could not fix. As I reviewed my draft, I noticed that some sections lacked a clear line of reasoning and the organizational structure did not provide a distinct path for the reader. My points were present, but not always framed in a clear and concise way. Global revision allowed me to reshape the essay so that each part contributed meaningfully to the larger argument. By reorganizing the paragraphs and refining the narrative flow, I was able to create a more coherent, focused, and readable essay that better represented my research and its significance.
