For my (AnnaBelle's) Girl Scout Gold Award Project,  I worked with Island Harvest to find out what foods are commonly available at their food pantries.  I researched gluten free recipes that use those and other inexpensive ingredients.  Since food made to be gluten free is so expensive,  I focused my recipes on foods that are naturally gluten free.  It is vital for people with food sensitivites and allergies to be able to find affordable, nutritious meals in order to maintain their health.   My cookbook is available on the Gluten Free On a Dime website.

I (Michael) reached out to more than 50 food banks throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic states and the South to provide free copies of the cookbook and to continue to expand the mission of AnnaBelle's Pantry.
