I am Dr Ankur Raj, working as an assistant professor at Department of Mathematics, Kamala Nehru College , University of Delhi. I obtained my bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. My research interest lies in Geometric Function Theory, which is a vibrant area of Complex Analysis.
I'm enthusiastic about learning; and nurture a deep curiosity encompassing spirituality and science.
श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानं तत्पर: संयतेन्द्रिय: |
ज्ञानं लब्ध्वा परां शान्तिमचिरेणाधिगच्छति || (Bhagavad Gita)
Those whose faith is deep and who have practiced controlling their mind and senses attain divine knowledge. Through such transcendental knowledge, they quickly attain everlasting supreme peace.
यथा शिखा मयूराणां नगानां मणयो यथा |
तथा वेदाङ्गशास्त्राणां गणितं मूर्धनि स्थितम् ||
As are the crests on the heads of peacocks, as are the gems on the hoods of cobras, so is Mathematics, at the top of all sciences.
ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात्पूर्णमुदच्यते ।
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ॥
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः||
That is whole; this is whole From the whole, this whole came; Remove this whole from that whole [and]; What remains is still whole. Om peace, peace, peace!
