Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.
{So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason.}
If you get a chance, take it, if it changes your life, let it be.
Nobody is perfect in this world.
Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
{I am lucky. Just noticed God gave me a piece of mind to carry with me to remind myself and others of how beautiful our imperfections make us.}
Please try to be simple
Because:
Living is very simple
Loving is very simple
Laughing is very very simple
Then what is difficult?
Being simple is very difficult.
How to be simple!
If you look at what you do not have in your life,
You don’t have anything.
If you look at what you have in your life
You have everything
Whatever happened, it happened for good
Whatever is happening, it is happening for good
Whatever that will happen, it will be for good
Whatever you have, you received as a gift from God.
You came empty handed and you will go the same way.
Whatever is yours today was somebody else’s in the past.
And will be somebody else’s in the future
{So, try to do good, because doing good is its own reward}
A Country may appear to be prosperous and advanced in every possible way; but if people of character, people of noble qualities, people with a kind heart are not present in large numbers, the decline and fall of that country is sure to come. Vast and varied geography and enchanting scenic beauty do not constitute a nation. It is the people who constitute a nation. This is a truth known to the wise. If the people are strong and dynamic the country is powerful; if the people are cultured the nation is civilized. Likewise, when the people are weak and uncultured the nation also will be the same.
So, we understand that the strength and glory of a nation depends on the sum total of the character of each individual constituting that nation. Now, what does it mean when we say a person has a powerful character or powerful personality? Does it mean he has a strong body? Or that he has a tremendous intellect? Or that he has vast knowledge? All these are correct no doubt, but these are all just certain aspects of personality, not the whole. What then is meant by a comprehensive, powerful personality? When we analyse this point, we find that a comprehensive, powerful personality comprises of four important aspects:-
1) Physical Strength
2) Intellectual Strength
3) Moral Strength
4) Spiritual Strength
If we have to say that a person’s character is all rounded, that his potential has been completely manifested, it means that all these four aspects – physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual – must be fully developed in him. If a person has a very strong physique, but no intellectual growth, he is no better that a strong bull. An intelligent man, who lacks moral development, is but a cunning fox! Without spiritual strength, all these strengths – physical, mental, moral – become like an edifice on sand, with no solid foundation and hence no certainty and permanence; in fact, they all become meaningless without spiritual development. Hence we have to clearly understand the significance of all these four aspects of our personality, and then make a firm resolve to develop all these four aspects in us and make our whole personality strong and meaningful.
Birth, growth and one fine day, death – this cycle is common to all living beings. In this cycle, birth and death are beyond our control. But with regard to growth, we have great freedom of choice; there is a lot we can do. But the masses give no thought to the growth of their personality. They make no special effort along these lines; they grow much as the birds and animals. Though born as human beings, many lead a dull life. Their entire existence is without any meaning, without any purpose. Just because such people form the majority it does not mean their method is right. There is a method where, by disciplined effort, we can achieve systematic development of our personality and attain fulfillment in life. We just need to learn the technique of developing our personality in a comprehensive way. There is a technique for everything. Similarly, there is a science of developing our personality. Just think of the difference between simply scattering seeds on a piece of land and learning the technique of farming? How will it be if we simply place brick upon brick and try to build a house; and how will it be if we build a house under the technical assistance of an architect? Very similarly, if we try to develop our personality haphazardly, without guidance from an expert, without knowing the technique involved, in vain will be our efforts and our life will be without any meaning.
In this world, we can find many people who have developed themselves along particular lines, who have developed one or more of the above-mentioned strengths. But only those who have developed all the four aspects equally can be said to have developed a true personality, a complete and a meaningful personality.
