Anjul is a Product Management leader with more than 16 years of experience involved in product planning & innovation, development and product release activities. With a progressive career, he has led development of products for Institutional and consumer market segments in public and private sectors. Exposed to both waterfall and agile software development methodologies; he has led products based on web/ Internet and big data technologies.

Anjul has been responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, which includes gathering and prioritizing target segment requirements/ features and defining the product vision. He has led cross-functional teams including resources from engineering, UX, marketing and support to make sure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. His responsibilities have also included managing cross-functional teams of highly skilled professionals in the US, India, Slovakia, Switzerland, UAE, France, Germany, China and Mexico.

Anjul leads product management activities for Polaris Wireless' product Aigis. Aigis is the best-in-class Data Analytics Software Platform. It transforms disparate real-time, big data from multiple sources into actionable analytics information for national security, public safety, Internet of Things (IoT) and disaster management.

Anjul’s current responsibilities include:

  1. Product Design & Development
    • Define and drive initiatives around our suite of Location Analytics platform/ applications driven by Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
    • Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.
    • Define the roadmap, communication and planning process for product release.
    • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all audiences (internal teams, entire company and external teams).
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams managing the product development lifecycle for customer facing applications and location analytics platform.
    • Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as technical design, user interface and packaging.
    • Establish and analyze product metrics. Integrate research, usability studies, and market analysis into product requirements to improve the overall user experience.
    • Coordinate and sync product initiatives across different internal teams by establishing shared vision and building consensus
    • Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of user experience and product management staff and oversee their daily activities.
    • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
    • Monitor and measure success metrics after launch and incorporate feedback into product development process
  2. Product Marketing
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers.
    • Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
    • Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied.
    • Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, working with advertising or promotion agencies.
    • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of company’s objectives, market segment characteristics, and international pricing factors.
    • Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings.
    • Scout for partner companies to enhance location analytics platform value proposition and include the selected partners in product development lifecycle
    • Select products to be promoted at international trade shows.
  3. Product Sales Support
    • Provide direct support to sales staff in forms of Sales proposals, RFI (request for information) and RFP (request for proposal) responses.
    • Advise business or other groups on local, national, or international factors affecting the buying or selling of products or services.
    • Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
    • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
