Revamped AFC's website to enhance user experience and communicate the campaign's mission, vision, and values
As you can see the original website:
Is not mobile friendly
Design is static
Does not effectively communicate the message of the AFC
This is my end product. This new design has many upgrades. It is:
Vertical instead of horizontal (mobile-friendly)
Has many visuals
Concise statements
Plenty of information about the AFC.
Conducted an analysis of the original site
Brainstormed solutions + strategies
Interviewed technical staff and crafted new purpose statements
Created storyboard concepts
Created digital storyboards
Curated promotional materials, leveraging Canva to maintain a consistent brand image
First-generation college students, whose parents did not earn four-year degrees, often face unique challenges navigating higher education. To support this vital student population, Horizons at Purdue University expanded First Generation Day into a week-long celebration filled with resources and community-building events. I spearheaded a social media campaign, including the First Gen Student Takeover series, to amplify student voices and promote these initiatives, ultimately fostering a stronger sense of belonging among first-generation scholars.
Horizons at Purdue University transformed the annual TRIO Day celebration into a week-long event to amplify the impact of TRIO programs on student success. To enhance awareness of these vital resources, I created a series of engaging TRIO-themed fun facts and trivia, which were shared throughout the week to inform and entertain the campus community on the importance of TRIO.
Designed weekly promotional materials and managed the club's Instagram account
To celebrate March Madness and get students engaged in our club, our club hosts a unique cultural food tournament. This past March, we focused on pasta around the world. The pasta-themed competition featured daily polls, building anticipation for our watch party events. This is the final bracket I created from this past March.
