Robotics

Week 1

For the first week of my Robotics class, my class learned the basics of C programming to control robots. On the side is a video of my robot going through an obstacle course. The code used simple commands like setMotorSpeed and setMotorTarget, ensuring precise movements.

Week 2

During the second week of Robotics class, I continued doing all the tasks, eventually finishing the hardest one of all: the Music task. Multiple pieces of tape were placed on the ground, and each color correlated to a different tone. The song played should sound similar to a Rick Roll.

Week 3 and 4: The Final Project

The final two weeks of Robotics class consisted of building, coding, testing, and presenting a robot. Alexis, my partner, and I, decided to make a transformers robot which we named Gardenia. Gardenia can walk on concrete, and she transforms into a car on asphalt. If she sees anything which obstructs her view for 20 centimeters or less, she transforms into a car, and goes underneath what covers the path. I have a video demonstration and explanation of my path of work with Alexis.
