Role: My objective was to compare existing protocols and design new motion capture methods for mandibular joint movement (unloaded chewing, open and close). I conducted a comprehensive literature review on motion capture methods for the temporomandibular joint. I also gained proficiency in the Anybody Modelling System (v.7.4.4) software.
Duration: 4th March - 27 May 2024. (3 months)
Venue: Chair of Training and Movement Sciences, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany.
Position: Intern.
Role: During this internship, I gained experience in preparing participants for electromyographic measurements (Myon/Cometa wireless system) and kinematic measurements (Vicon Nexus system). I also gained experience in Data acquisition, analysis, and preparation using the Vicon Nexus software. I performed an analysis of muscle fascicle behavior based on ultrasound imaging. I did literature research in the fields of muscle mechanics and muscle activation.
Duration:1st August 2023 - 31st October 2023 (Intern) & 1st November 2023 - 29 February 2024 (Student Assistant, HiWi, 20 hrs/month). (7 months)
Employer: Dept. of Developmental Psychology, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, Germany.
Role: I worked on the project "Visual-spatial prediction in everyday tasks in children" ( 6-8-year-old ). My responsibilities included designing and organizing the experimental setup. I prepared the testing and assisted in data collection with the Vicon system. I also performed Vicon data labeling using Nexus software and analyzed video data of children's reaching and transporting of hand movements .
