Hi, I am Anirban Chakraborty, currently a second-year Ph.D. student at the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (starting from December 2020).

I hail from a beautiful city called Kolkata in the state of West Bengal in India. However, I have completed various stages of my education at institutions, whose geographic locations span all four cardinal directions (E, N, S, W) across India (see below). This has helped me undergo a variety of life experiences and meet people from different walks of life.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and reading books. In near future, I am desirous to learn some new languages and also wish to learn to play a musical instrument someday.
