Quantum Field Theory (QFT)
The group works on various aspects of quantum field theory, with particular emphasis on strongly coupled systems, conformal field theories, and fundamental consistency principles such as unitarity, causality, and symmetry. Using modern techniques including the conformal and S-matrix bootstrap, the research aims to uncover non-perturbative structures of quantum theories and deepen our understanding of the fundamental interactions governing nature.
String Theory
Research in string theory focuses on holography, quantum gravity, black hole physics, and the emergence of spacetime from quantum degrees of freedom. The group studies how ideas from string theory connect gravity, quantum information, and field theory, often exploring higher-derivative corrections, AdS/CFT correspondence, and the geometric structure underlying fundamental physics.
