Dr. Debnath and his research group is presently working on fabrication of conducting polymer, biochar and metal oxide based novel nanocomposites for remediation of toxic water pollutants like pharmaceuticals, dyes and heavy metals. In addition, sono-catalytic and microwave based hybrid treatment methods for degradation of toxic dyes, rubber and dairy industrial wastewater are also in the focus.
