Sourav Ganguly, operating under  Eodbytes ("we," "our," or "us"), operates the Anime Trace mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

While using Anime Trace, we prioritize your privacy by processing data locally. We do not require account registration or any personal identification to use the app.

• Camera and Image Data: We require access to your device’s camera to facilitate the tracing feature. Important: All image processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or share your photos or camera feed to the cloud or our servers.

• No Account Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or social media profiles.

• Usage Data: We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to collect technical information on how the app is accessed (e.g., device model, OS version, and crash reports) to improve app stability and performance.

2. Service Providers

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service and provide infrastructure:

• Google AdMob & Advertising ID: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. To function on Android 13+ devices, the app declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission. This allows AdMob to collect your device's Advertising ID to provide personalized ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. You can reset or delete this ID at any time in your device's Android Settings under Privacy > Ads.

• Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics: Used to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, identify bugs, and improve the overall user experience.

• Google Play Services: Used for basic app functionality and security on Android devices.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention: Since we do not collect personal identifiers or maintain user accounts, we do not retain your personal data in a central database.

• User Control: Any drawings or traces created within the app are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will remove any locally stored cached data.

• Manual Requests: If you have concerns regarding technical logs collected by our analytics providers, you can contact us at eodbytes@gmail.com.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
