Animals ID: AI Identifier (“the App”) is developed by a privacy-conscious team committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

We may collect the following data only when explicitly provided by the user:

• Photos selected from the device (via Photo Library or Camera)

• User-created content such as animal identifications

• Subscription information via Apple’s App Store

Device Permissions

To offer its features, the App requests access to:

• Photos / Camera: To allow you to select or capture images of animals for analysis

• Microphone / Sound: To play ambient nature audio during user sessions

• Internet: To send images securely to our AI engine for identification (only when user initiates analysis)

Note: No background data collection is performed. No persistent tracking.

How We Use Your Data

All data is used for one primary purpose:

To analyze animal images using AI and present relevant biological and educational information to the user.

Specifically, we use your data to:

• Identify animals based on user-provided images

• Improve the accuracy and quality of results

• Store identifications locally on your device (not uploaded to our servers)

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties.

The App uses Apple’s secure frameworks for subscriptions, media access, and purchases. All sensitive operations are handled via Apple’s APIs.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Our subscription options include:

• Monthly Nature Plan

• Mother Nature Yearly Access

Subscription payments are handled exclusively through Apple’s App Store.

We do not store or process any payment information directly.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Users can manage or cancel subscriptions via their Apple ID settings.

Data Retention

We store analyzed animal data locally on your device.

You may delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app or using the “Clear Identifications” option in settings.

We do not maintain any server-side storage of your content.

Children’s Privacy

This app is designed for general audiences and is safe for children.

However, we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete such information promptly.

For users in the EU or EEA, we fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You have the right to:

• No cloud sync or remote database storage

• All user photos are processed via secure Apple or OpenAI APIs

• Subscription handling uses App Store Secure Enclave

• Audio files are bundled within the app, not streamed or tracked

When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this document and notify users through the app when appropriate.
