CHILDHOOD DREAM

When I was a kid, I accidentally watched a space movie. At that time, I suddenly became interested in our universe, so I watched lots of movies about space and the universe. So I told myself that I wanted to become an astronaut someday. Years pass and I realize that I can't do it since I'm a lazy person and I can't pursue that dream because of other personal things.

But it didn't stop me from learning more about the universe. Since then, I am still confused and eager to learn more about what's going on in our universe to understand and to learn new things that I like.

MY TOP 3 PICK FOR ISEKAI SERIES!!!

Before anything else, I would like to congratulate everyone on reaching the 3rd quarter! May we all graduate and live peacefully, full of blessings, this May 2022. Keep the positivity as always!

2020-2022 has gone by in the blink of an eye. I watched so many anime during those years. For that, I am so thankful because during those years, anime keeps me busy in a good way. Also, along my journey, anime greatly helped me relieve my stress and served as my escape from reality (char). It was a great thing that I discovered anime.

So yeah. As we congratulate each other, I would like to share my top 3 isekai anime lists. I decided the rankings based on my totally biased opinion. If I enjoyed it, then I enjoyed it. Period.

Without any further ado, here they are:

3. GRIMGAR OF FANTASY AND ASH

A total surprise to me. I had no idea about the show when I picked it up. Then the reality of this anime showed up. Boom! It sparked my interest. Grimgar is special because its story is very realistic, unlike the other RPG anime. It's a slow-burning show with an emphasis on character development and character emotions. You get a true feel of their psyches as they are well fleshed out characters, and the plot is great from start to finish. I like the way they train because they can't kill goblins and they need to team up. Like they're 5 people vs. 1 goblin.

2. THE RISING OF THE SHIELD HERO

Truly, a healing anime for me. This is a very good anime full of great and memorable characters! The protagonist, Iwatani Naofumi, has to be one of the best MCs ever! Also, Raphtalia, Filo, and Melty are also amazing as well! It's not perfect, and it falls a bit short in storytelling, but it makes up for it in world building and characters.

1. THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME

Do I still have to explain why this is my TOP 1 pick? Do I really have to? Damn, I missed this show!! I lost count of how many times I rewatched the whole show. As silly as its title might be, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime gives a good summary for both its main protagonist and main content: it's an honest, charming little adventure that pulls no punches and decides to just go straight ahead for what it promised the viewers, and it is more than meets the eyes. The series also provides some good laughs and has a general feel-good quality. The animation is impressive as are the character designs. Overall a really fun anime that I'd definitely recommend to fans of the genre.

So there you have it. We were blessed with good anime when pandemic start. I sure do hope that 2022 would be even better.
