Here is a sneek peak into my upcoming short film, driven by the emotion between two characters, this film aims to take the audience through a journey of love and acceptance... 

After exploring different animation workflows I decided to create a short character performance piece with dialogue, to better understand which workflow works best for me. While I created this animation I focused mainly on straight ahead animation, this made the process a lot longer than I would have liked however it gave me clarification that pose to pose is my prefered method of animating. 

Here is a small insight into my workflow, I use reference of both myself and secondary sources, I find that it helps me to better connect with the character by analysing exactly how I would feel in the situation the character is in. I also find that it is great to create mind maps to ensure I articulate how the character is feeling and thinking to the audience. I use the pose to pose workflow to best understand exactly where I would like the character to start and end.
