Every statement below was checked against the shipping build rather than written from a template. If the app changes, this has to change with it — a privacy policy that overstates what an app collects is as wrong as one that understates it, and Apple compares this document against the App Privacy labels in App Store Connect.
ZoneIn is a puzzle game. It has no accounts, no servers of ours, and it asks for no permissions on your device.
We do not collect your personal information.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth.
There is no account and nothing to sign in to.
Your scores and history stay on your device.
The app has no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
The app requests no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, health data, or notifications.
Nothing is sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
Everything you do in ZoneIn is stored locally, using Apple's on-device database. That includes:
Every round you finish: which board, how long it took, how many mistakes
Your streak and the days you played
Your settings: theme, board preferences, tracking parameters
Your onboarding answers
None of it is uploaded anywhere. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is gone, and we have no copy to restore.
If you use iCloud device backup, your ZoneIn data may be included in that backup. That is between you and Apple, governed by Apple's privacy policy, and we have no access to it.
ZoneIn offers an optional subscription and a one-time unlock.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details, your billing address, or your Apple Account.
To know whether your purchase is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. When you open the app, RevenueCat receives:
A random identifier the app generates for your installation. It is not linked to your name, your email, your Apple Account, or your device's advertising identifier.
The App Store receipt for any purchase you make, so it can confirm the purchase is valid and still active.
Basic technical facts that come with any network request, such as your country and the app version.
That is the only thing the app sends anywhere. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you never make a purchase, no purchase data exists to send.
To be explicit, because these are the things people reasonably worry about:
No analytics. There is no analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app. We do not know which screens you open, how often you play, or whether you finish a round.
No advertising. There are no ads and no advertising SDKs. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and the app never shows a tracking prompt, because it has nothing to track.
No permissions. The app contains no permission requests at all. It cannot ask for your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or health data, because that capability is not built into it.
No profiles. We do not build a profile of you and there is no automated decision-making about you.
ZoneIn is a puzzle game suitable for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since it collects no personal information at all, there is nothing about a child — or an adult — for us to hold.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal data a company holds about you: to see it, correct it, delete it, or take it elsewhere.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase. To delete everything the app has stored, either use Settings → History → Clear all runs inside the app, or delete the app from your device.
For anything about your purchase history, that belongs to Apple and to RevenueCat; Apple's account settings and RevenueCat's privacy policy are the routes to it.
We do not sell personal information, and we never have.
If you visit our website, it may use its own analytics and load fonts from a third party. Anything the website does is separate from the app, and the app does not share data with it.
If the app starts collecting something it does not collect today, this document gets updated before that version ships, and the date at the top changes. We will not quietly widen what is collected under an old policy.
