During PhD period

• Third prize in the thesis in three minute competition by Saransh-2022;organised by INYAS – Indian National Young Academy of Science  (Jan 2023)

For presenting the thesis in three minutes to communicate to a wider population beyond the scientific community [Link]

• Second prize in the Thesis in Three competition, Issued by AStruM-2022, The Bernal Institute, University of Limerick (Apr 2022) 

Ph.D. researchers have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance.

• International Travel Immersion Fellowship, Issued by Office of Global Engagement (IIT Madras) (Feb 2022).

The International Immersion Experience (IIE) program aims to facilitate highly motivated students who work on the cutting edge research at IIT Madras to travel to a partner institution abroad.

• Institute Research Award, Issued Indian Institute of Technology Madras  (June 2021).

In recognition of the quality and quantity of research work done during the ongoing PhD period. 

• PMRF Annual Review: Overall performance to e of excellent quality

The excellent quality works were invited to attend PMRF Symposium organized by IIT Delhi [Link]

• DAAD Bi-nationality PhD Scholarship , Issued by DAAD: German Academic Exchange Service (Aug 2019).

The aim of this programme is the funding of bi-national doctoral projects at the home university and at a university in Germany. 

• Best Paper Award in the Theoretical and Numerical Mechanics category at the Structural Engineering Convention 2018 (SEC 2018) .

Best Paper Award for the paper entitled ‘Effect of actuation procedure in MFC actuators for morphing of bistable laminates’, in the category of Theoretical and Numerical Mechanics at the 11th Structural Engineering Convention 2018 (SEC 2018)

• ISTE National Award for Best M.Tech. Thesis in Civil Engineering (First Prize), Issued by The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) (Jan 2019)

• Gold medal and Valli Anantharamakrishnan Merit Prize, Issued by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Jul 2018)

For the best performance in Civil Engineering Department, IIT Madras, Chennai.

• Smt. Jayalakshmi Narasimhan Memorial Prize, Issued by Indian Institute of Technology Madras  (Apr 2018).

For securing the highest CGPA in the first two semesters M.Tech programme in Civil Engineering during 2016-17.
