'Creative cage is a metaphor ironically meaning cage for the body but freedom for the mind to think outside the cage'
Functionally talking if you see there are very few or no windows at all on either sides i really do see everything as a design challenge which is something to be solved and this is sort of a creative cage that i would like to put myself into each day while solving that.
Lighting here was really important to me, the whole concept of room really explored apertures through slits, skylights, floor to ceiling windows and because it is such an abstract structure where I thought natural light will be one of really important organizing feature of this room so i made these very large organic openings (skylights) on roof that look up to the sky and then we also have walls that have no openings altogether, instead have thin slits to create a feeling of cage at the same time avoid influence of the mundane from outside.
So these combination of elements give you this variety in such a small space
