Author Bio

My name is Aniket Anand and I am a freshman at Cosumnes River College. I am majoring in EMT and plan to transfer to UC San Diego after two years of community college. I was born in 2005 and raised in Sacramento until 2017 when I moved to San Diego after elementary school. I lived there for nearly four years before moving back to Sacramento in December 2020. I did gymnastics for 10 years competitively while growing up. This is where my interest in medical studies started which led me to pursue my dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. 

This online portfolio will include my Major Projects from English 300 and 80 as well as other assignments that I complete along the way. Culture is a large part of my life and will referenced a lot in my writing from personal experience. I hope that this portfolio will become a way to see my growth as my writing becomes more fleshed out and I am able to better understand the components of good writing.
