Arina Nikanrova
I am an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) of Economics at City St. George's, University of London. My research interests lie in the field of microeconomic theory and applications, focusing on information acquisition in selling mechanisms, dynamic learning and competition economics.
Outside academia, I am currently an academic affiliate at NERA Economic Consulting. In the past, I was an adviser to RBB Economics and worked for Ofcom. In these roles, I have advised on a wide range of competition issues covering horizontal mergers, auction design, and abuse of dominance enquiries. In 2019, I was part of the Ofcom litigation team in the Royal Mail v Ofcom CAT appeal.
