COMPANY LOGO

The original AnibalPachecoIT logo was created in PowerPoint using five different transparency layers as part of rebranding efforts for this brand. Conversely, the Black Chalkboard background was created using PicMonkey as an example of App Smashing. The letters "IT" inside the conversation bubble are meant to encourage educators to have a conversation about Instructional Technology and for them to realize that pedagogy should always come before technology. The font used is Bowlby One SC from Google Fonts. Finally, the logo was recreated in Inkscape to demonstrate the creation of vector images using .png imports and image enhancing techniques to match colors and the logo background.

Battle of The Formats: Raster vs. Vector

Raster

Raster images are the standard in digital photography and most commonly used graphics in digital format. Most often graphic designers will save a vector image as a raster file to use on the web or desktop presentations.

Vector

Vector images are best used for logos and illustrations. However, magazines and print publications use them to save ink which translates into cheaper publication costs.

There are two types of digital graphics files – vector and raster. Vector images are made of hundreds of thousands of tiny lines and curves (or paths) to create an image. Raster images are composed of pixels. via https://designshack.net
