Dr. Le Anh Ngoc (ANLE) presently holds the position of Director at the Swinburne Innovation Space within Swinburne University of Technology in Vietnam. Concurrently, he leads the Intelligence Systems and Networks Research Group (ISN Group). His previous roles encompass Director of Development Program at Differentiated Automotive Platform (DAP) – FPT Global Automotive & Manufacturing, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Electronics & Telecoms, Computer Engineering at EPU, and Head of the Communication Network at Vinh University’s Information Technology Department. Dr. Ngoc has also served as a Researcher at the Telecommunications Networks Laboratory (TENET Lab), Kyungpook National University (KNU) in South Korea.

He received his B.S in Mathematics and Informatics from Vinh University and VNU University of Science, respectively. He received a Master's degree in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam.  He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information Technology from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Kyungpook National University, South Korea, in 2009. 

His general research interests are Embedded and Intelligent Systems, Communication Networks, the Internet of Things, Image/Video Processing, AI & Big Data Analysis. His expertise is on networking and his main research activities include protocol design (MAC and routing) and performance evaluation of wireless access and multi-hop networks, traffic management and quality of service issues in IP networks, and network planning and optimization. In particular, his current research focuses on designing of smart IoT systems and protocols for wireless mesh networks (WMN), wireless sensor networks (WSN), vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET), and multi-drone communication networks.  On these topics, he published around 100 papers/publications in International journals and Conference proceedings (including ISI, Scopus...). He has published books on “Efficient Routing Protocols for Multiradio Wireless Mesh  Networks:  Architectures,  Protocols  and  Algorithms”, "Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques for Medical Science". He had been the coordinator of more than 10 research projects funded by the universities and governments. 

He was the editor of a few journals (International Journal of Research and Reviews in Computer Science (ISSN: 2079‐2557),  Advances in Network and Communications Journal, ISSN (2093‐4734), IAES International Journal of Robotics and Automation, …)  and served in the Technical Program Committee of International conferences (The Second International Conference on Networks and    Communications, The Second International Conference on Wireless & Mobile Networks, The Third International Conference on Wireless, Mobile Networks & Applications (WiMoA‐2011), The Second International Conference on Big Data and Advanced Wireless Technologies (BDAW20) ... ), as Program Chair of International conferences (The Third International Conference on Information Security and Assurance, Seoul, Korea,  The  International Conference on Intelligent Systems & Networks (ICISN), International Workshop on Advanced Communication& Digital Transformation. He also served as a  Committee Member of the National Conference on Electronics,  Communications and Information Technology (REV-ECIT)., as reviewers of many International conferences and journals (Computer Communications Journal, ISSN (0140‐3664), Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) Journal, ISSN (1225‐6463), Journal of Communications and Networks ISSN (1229-2370),…). He was a member of IEEE and IEICE society.
