Rovio took us to the international space station, courtesy of the video below of course, to show us a little bit about how the new version of the game will work. An astronaut, Don Pettit, did a little demo flinging a plush red bird in a zero gravity environment. It should go without saying, but that little red bird flew straighter than an arrow through the space station.

Flying with them was a toy red bird from the mobile video game "Angry Birds." Selected by Shkaplerov's 5-year-old daughter, the doll was used by the crew as a "zero gravity indicator." When the small plush bird began to float inside the Soyuz, it signaled to the crew that they had reached orbit.

Complete with a NASA tie-in, the new version from game developer Rovio allows players to fling angry birds at the horrible green pig villains in zero gravity, slingshot them around a moon, and even manipulate the gravity of nearby space objects for "trick" shots, PC World reported Thursday.Advertisement

During his earliest years, Red was an antisocial person who was rejected by the other birds.[2] With an unstable anger (despite him trying to state otherwise), he had always hated being disrespected and made fun of, as he took jokes very seriously. This would result in him getting enraged and/or sad. As he grew up, he also became someone who could get frustrated by anything, acting rude in front of other people not matter how friendly they were towards him. However, after he stopped Leonard from cooking the eggs from Bird Island, Red became much more outgoing and was approved by the rest of the birds, which allowed him to control his anger issues much more than before.[3] Nevertheless, even after these incidents, it was shown that Red could still get angry at anything, sometimes cursing himself for his actions,[4] and showing an open hatred for ridiculous holidays.[5] He himself has admitted that he still suffered from anger issues from time to time. However, he is not ungrateful and appreciates the effort others make for him.[6]

When I got back to my room, It was the last minute of that section of static. This next scene showed Red, Bomb, Chuck, Matilda, and The Blues in a blender with text saying "No more birds, or I will press blend". The birds got super angry and shattered the blender into pieces. Then there was more static with a knife chopping sound in the background. The next shot showed Peppa Pig, George, and Daddy Pig (No Mummy Pig for some reason) with Hal, Terence, Chuck, Matilda, and Red. Daddy Pig was about to land on the birds, and he actually does it. He even shattered the eggs of the birds. Then there was more static. Also, it cut to red with an ax, killing Daddy Pig in the most graphic way...

I then ejected the disc, recycled it and watched real angry birds. Now you're probably wondering, "What happened to the Paper Sleeve? Did you recycle that too?" Well, as for the sleeve, I decided to keep it in case I had a DVD without a case. But remember, do not watch the DVD if you find it. It will give you Nightmares. But I will still like Angry Birds, no matter what. The DVD is not in my possession anymore. Thanks to me. But, to tell the truth, if I find this DVD again, I must destroy it. No one knows about this DVD anymore thanks to me.

No longer encumbered by gravity, the Angry Birds flock have taken to the freezing interplanetary void to continue waging their war on egg-stealing pigs. While a constant gravity pulling down plays a major role in the ballistic gameplay of the earlier games in the series, here in a zero-gravity environment it is now orbital interaction with the gravity wells of objects of varying mass that influences the birds' trajectories when they are aimed and propelled forward at their target -- ramshackle shelters of craven egg-guzzling pigs, fit only to be smashed by the debris or the bodies or special powers of astronomical birds. Yes, the birds are all back, but strangely altered for their new, cosmic context, with sci-fi powers like ice and laser beams. The destructive gang of birds rains destruction down upon pigs across 60 new levels, studded with such new set dressing as satellites and mines.

Angry Birds Space features 60 interstellar levels on planets and in zero gravity, resulting in spectacular gameplay ranging from slow-motion puzzles to lightspeed destruction. With regular free updates, new in-app purchases, brand new birds, brand new superpowers, and a whole galaxy to explore, the sky is no longer the limit!

The fourth major release in the Angry Birds series is a departure in more ways than one. The hook? You'll be lobbing birds on entirely new planets while contending with zero gravity, leading to new gameplay elements like slow-motion puzzles and "lightspeed" destruction. And just like with other Angry Birds games, expect those outer-space physics to be dead on.

The agency filmed a YouTube video in which astronaut Don Pettit sets up a slingshot in the International Space Station and hurtles a stuffed Angry Bird toy at different angles while he explains how zero-gravity can affect the path of an object.

The game sees the eponymous birds shift into space, with sixty levels spread across both planets and in zero-gravity situations. That should add an interesting twist to the existing style of gameplay, with Rovio saying players will be able to do trick-shots using different gravity pulls, among other things.

The aim of the game is simple - fling the birds towards the pigs and reclaim what's yours. But, that's the plot of the regular Angry Birds game. In the 'Space' version, you travel from planet to planet, experience zero-gravity adventures and beyond. Basically, it's the regular Angry Birds game, but on steroids. Can you deny that? Obviously not. 0852c4b9a8
