This Goat Sales Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Angry Acres Farm (“Seller”) and the undersigned purchaser (“Buyer”). By signing this Agreement, Buyer acknowledges that Buyer has read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions set forth herein.
1.1. This Agreement must be completed for each calendar year in which Buyer purchases one or more animals from Seller.
1.2. Seller reserves the right to retain any animal at any time, including after a deposit has been placed. In such event, Seller may, at Seller’s sole discretion, refund any deposit and other monies paid or transfer such monies to another available animal of equal or lesser value.
2. BUYER STATUS AND DEADLINES
2.1. Waitlist Buyers. Buyer may complete this Agreement at any time prior to placing a deposit. Once Seller notifies Buyer that an animal is available, Buyer shall have forty-eight (48) hours to submit this signed Agreement, the required non-refundable deposit, and any applicable fees. If Buyer fails to do so within that time, the animal shall no longer be considered pending, held, or reserved.
2.2. Non-Waitlist Buyers. A Buyer who is not on Seller’s waitlist shall submit this signed Agreement, the required non-refundable deposit, and any applicable fees within forty-eight (48) hours of agreeing to purchase an animal. If same-day pickup is arranged, Seller must receive the signed Agreement and deposit before meeting with Buyer.
3.1. A non-refundable deposit in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per goat is required to reserve any animal.
3.2. Deposits may be paid by cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
3.3. Any payment made by Venmo or PayPal shall include an additional six percent (6%) fee to cover processing charges.
3.4. The remaining balance of the purchase price shall be due at or before pickup and must be paid in cash only. Ownership shall not transfer until Seller has received full payment.
3.5. Checks shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
3.6. Any additional fees, including but not limited to travel fees, veterinary fees, registration fees, transfer fees, testing fees, DNA fees, or health certificate fees, shall be due within forty-eight (48) hours of submission of this Agreement unless otherwise stated. Such fees shall not be credited toward the purchase price of the animal.
4. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AND REGISTRATION
4.1. Buyer agrees to take possession of the animal on the agreed pickup date and time once full payment has been received by Seller.
4.2. For animals sold as registered animals, Seller shall provide registration papers, an application to register, or other applicable paperwork depending upon the registration status of the animal and Buyer’s membership status.
4.3. If Buyer does not hold an active ADGA membership at the time of sale, Seller may provide an application to register together with a bill of sale, and Buyer shall be solely responsible for completing registration and transfer into Buyer’s own name.
4.4. Seller may take up to ninety (90) days from the date of sale to complete registration of kids or to mail or submit applications and paperwork.
4.5. Some registrations may be completed electronically, while others may require mailing. If DNA testing or other additional requirements apply, processing may take longer.
4.6. Buyer agrees to complete transfer of ownership with ADGA within ninety (90) days of sale when applicable.

4.8. Beginning in 2026, bucklings shall not be sold as registered animals and shall be sold without papers.
5.1. All animals, including dam-raised kids, bottle-raised kids, and older goats, shall be picked up on the agreed-upon date and time unless otherwise approved by Seller in writing.
5.2. Buyer shall arrange pickup within seven (7) days of signing this Agreement and submitting the required non-refundable deposit.
5.3. If this Agreement is signed before the animal is weaned or otherwise ready to leave Seller’s care, Seller shall notify Buyer when the animal is ready for pickup, and Buyer shall have ten (10) days from such notice to arrange and complete pickup.
5.4. If Buyer is unable to appear at the originally scheduled pickup date or time, Seller may, at Seller’s sole discretion, permit one (1) opportunity to reschedule.
5.5. If Buyer fails to appear for the rescheduled pickup without prior communication, Seller may cancel the sale and retain all monies paid, including the non-refundable deposit and any fees.
5.6. If Buyer is more than thirty (30) minutes late to the scheduled pickup time without contacting Seller, Seller may cancel the sale and retain all monies paid, including the non-refundable deposit and any fees.
5.7. Any animal not picked up by the agreed-upon deadline may incur a boarding fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day, unless otherwise approved by Seller in writing.
5.8. For biosecurity reasons, Seller shall not deliver animals directly to Buyer’s farm or home, including for nearby buyers.

6.5. Seller shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries, animal stress, delays, or inability to meet caused by illness, injury, weather, natural disaster, or any other unforeseen circumstance. In such event, Seller may, at Seller’s sole discretion, permit one additional opportunity to reschedule pickup.
6.6. Once the animal leaves Seller’s care, all transportation risks, veterinary care, and emergency decisions shall become Buyer’s sole responsibility.
7.1. Seller may maintain a free waitlist.
7.2. Once a waitlist buyer is contacted regarding available animals, Buyer shall have forty-eight (48) hours to accept or decline. If Buyer accepts, a non-refundable deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per goat, together with this signed Agreement and any applicable fees, shall be required to reserve the animal.
7.3. For non-reserved animals, Buyer shall submit the required non-refundable deposit, signed Agreement, and any applicable fees within forty-eight (48) hours of agreeing to purchase.
7.4. Deposits shall not be transferable from one animal to another unless the original animal becomes ill, injured, or dies prior to completion of the sale.
7.5. Deposits are non-refundable if Buyer backs out of the sale. Deposits may only be refunded if Seller cancels the sale.
8.1. All animals are believed to be healthy to the best of Seller’s knowledge at the time of sale.
8.2. Once an animal leaves Seller’s possession, Seller shall not be responsible for the health, condition, care, or outcome of the animal, and no further health guarantees are made or implied.
8.3. Buyer is encouraged to transition feed, housing, and routine gradually in order to reduce stress.
8.4. Buyer may request a veterinary examination prior to finalizing the sale, at Buyer’s sole expense. All veterinary-related costs, including exam fees, travel fees, office visit fees, and requested testing, shall be paid by Buyer with the non-refundable deposit.

8.6. Wethers, pet goats, unregistered animals, non-breeding animals, and all bucklings shall not receive registration papers and may not be registered through Seller.
8.7. If Buyer elects to leave a goat horned, the full purchase price and signed Agreement shall be required in place of a deposit, and such payment shall be non-refundable.
