Principal Investigator

Jhen-Cih Wu is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Angela received her Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University in 2024. She has followed a unique and interdisciplinary academic journey. She began her training in Occupational Safety and Health before making a pivotal transition to Environmental Engineering, where she discovered her passion for addressing complex environmental challenges. This transition has shaped her interdisciplinary research perspective and strengthened her appreciation for collaboration across diverse fields. Her varied academic background enriches her research by enabling her to approach problems creatively, connect knowledge across disciplines, and work effectively in collaborative teams. Her research interests include electrochemical technologies for water and wastewater treatment, emerging contaminant and hazardous substance mitigation, and development and application of functional nanomaterials and electrified membranes.
