o Keep labor costs within predetermined limit and have current understanding of minor labor laws to avoid violations and overages
o Understand current state and federal labor laws
o Perform weekly inventory to ensure product waste is low and all supplies can be accurately ordered
o Utilize checklist to recruit the best employees, and provide extra attention during training to ensure the right fit
o Review all timecards to confirm employees are clocking in and out at scheduled times, ensuring breaks have been taken
o Make payroll decisions based on experience, employment history, and business needs
o Review employee performance and prepare pay raises based on those reviews
