We, the students of the Department of Information Technology at Kennesaw State University, are proud to undertake this capstone project under the esteemed guidance and support of our department. As a team of five dedicated students, we are pooling our diverse skills and expertise to contribute meaningfully to the community through this project. Our collaboration is focused on enhancing the Angels Among Us Pet Rescue website with an AI-driven chatbot, a tool designed to improve user engagement and streamline the process of obtaining information about donations, adoptions, and volunteer opportunities.

This project, 'Website Enhancement with Chatbot Integration,' represents not only a practical application of the knowledge we have gained throughout our studies but also our commitment to using technology for the greater good. This project is conducted during the Fall 2024 semester as a pivotal part of our Master’s degree program in Information Technology at Kennesaw State University. As the culminating capstone project for our IT Master's curriculum, this initiative represents the culmination of our advanced studies, integrating the diverse skills and knowledge we have acquired throughout our academic journey.

 The capstone project is designed to challenge us to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems, requiring us to demonstrate proficiency in areas such as web development, database management, AI integration, and project management. It also emphasizes the importance of teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving, all of which are essential skills in the ever-evolving field of information technology.

 Throughout the semester, our team of five students has worked diligently to develop a comprehensive solution that addresses a genuine need within the non-profit sector.
