State Vice President and Chapter Vice President
As the State Vice President for Texas BPA, I have led over 12,500+ students by planning the annual State Conference which encompasses 4,000+ attendees. In addition, I have spearheaded the inaugural Texas Leadership Camp, advocated for Business Education at the Texas State Capitol with the State Board of Education, and managed social media accounts encompassing 2,500+ followers. Additionally, I have represented the special population students who face socioeconomic challenges at state officer meetings. As Vice President of my local chapter, I have increased membership and service award recipients by 60% while initiating social media coverage to engage over 100 followers. Through BPA’s business competitions, I have been ranked as a regional and state champion and national qualifier while being awarded at the state level for my commitment to service.
Student Council
Student Body President and Senior Class President
As President of my Student Council, I preside over a council of 100+ students. I am responsible for developing the agenda and providing the council with updates and information regarding events and fundraising. With the assistance of my officer team of five, we have doubled membership in less than one month, initiated social media accounts to encompass 360+ followers, and raised over $10,000 in our activity account. Our organization is responsible for planning our homecoming dance by picking and executing the theme, decor, food, drinks, etc. In addition, we are in charge of uplifting school spirit. As President, I lead all our student sections at football, volleyball, soccer, and basketball games. Through these efforts, we have increased our school pride surrounding our extracurriculars. Additionally, As Student Body President, I have represented my 900+ peers at district and civic events such as School Board Meetings and Bond Planning Committees–which has allowed me to influence a $167 million bond for future students. Additionally, I have increased school culture by initiating inaugural events such as our Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly, Fall Fest, and Holiday Car Show. As the Senior Class President, I represent and advocate on behalf of my 200+ classmates. Through my role, I have served as a liaison between the project graduation board, senior class, and class sponsor. Additionally, with my team of three officers, we have initiated social media accounts to encompass 250+ followers and have led fundraising efforts to obtain over $20,000 in our project graduation account.
Spanish National Honor Society
Chapter Vice President
As Vice President of the Spanish National Honor Society, I assist the President in directing the work of the organization, preside over meetings in the President's absence, and assist chapter recruitment efforts. Through my leadership, our chapter encompassed 50+ members this school year–which resulted in a membership increase of 20%. As a dedicated member, I have decorated school spaces during Hispanic Heritage Week to showcase the Spanish culture in addition to raising funds for local scholarships.
League of United Latin American Citizens
Climate Ambassador
As a League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Climate Ambassador, I have been able to communicate information about our climate. With the help of LULAC resources such as workshops and training, I have been equipped with the right experience needed to go out in my community with the vision of increasing the support of climate regulations. Through this initiative, I have been able to attend presidential rallies, contact elected officials, and more. In my local LULAC council, I have volunteered my time as a Washington Youth Leadership Seminar Participant to talk about the social, political, and economic issues that affect Latinos. My participation in this activity has helped raise funds for local scholarships for our local Latino youth. In addition, I have connected with my Council President to bring her to my high school to speak on the importance of Latinos and their contributions to today's society.
Peer Assitance and Leadership

My experience with Peer Assistance and Leadership has been filled with mentorship and mature responsibility. As a mentor, I got paired with four underprivileged children at three schools and mentored them for one year. My mentorship included giving life advice, academic help, and mature company. In addition, I have performed drug prevention pep rallies for elementary and middle school students while spearheading drug prevention activities at my high school. I have also participated in cancer awareness weeks by making flyers and ribbons. Lastly, I have led teacher appreciation activities such as the “kindness cart” to give staff words of affirmation for their continued efforts in education. As an organization, we have also volunteered our time in the community by participating in causes like food and housing insecurity.
The University Interscholastic League

As a competitor with The University Interscholastic League (UIL), I have competed in Extemporaneous Speaking where I got 5th Place at my district competition. I Prepared a 7-minute speech in 30 minutes on a controversial topic before presenting the extemporaneous speech to a panel of judges. This year, I plan to compete in Extemporaneous Speaking and team debate
