Usage Guidelines

First of all, I'm thrilled that you're interested to use my music in whatever work you're undertaking. Thank you for your interest!

I also want to thank you for viewing this page. Because the answer to that question depends on the song you're looking to use, and this page has said answer. Yes, many of my songs are free to use. But not all of them; there are also many songs that aren't free to use. So let's get the bad news out the way first and ask...

The songs are listed in the section below. Any song found within this section or is part of a non-listed category within the section cannot be used freely in most cases.

First of all, exceptions.

You may've noticed some exceptions while viewing the section. Actually, there are a few more exceptions that aren't listed because they are extremely common. What are those unlisted exceptions?

• In Geometry Dash, if the song is on Newgrounds AND whitelisted for use.

• If the song was used in a work uploaded/published before 1 January 2025.

If you want to use a song in that section and your case meets the exception, then you can freely use the song.

But if no exceptions are met?

In that case, you will have to contact me for permission, preferably through directly messaging @angelpandaearth on Discord.

If the song is not listed in the section AND is not part of a non-listed category within that section, then congratualations! You are free to use that song anywhere. Most freely-useable songs are free to download AND copyright-free so no worries on using them for YouTube videos or anything like that.

NOTE: If you are using my music in custom levels for rhythm games, you may need to convert the audio file to .wav or .ogg format. My go-to converter is CloudConvert, although that doesn't come with an .ogg option.

As my music is under Creative Commons licensing (CC BY, in most cases), you're required to credit me as part of attribution. If you're using a song that required my permission to use, I advise you include a "used with permission" indicator within your attribution. Please do not claim any of my work as your own.

Notice how MOST, not ALL songs are under CC BY. Some songs may be under slightly stricter licenses.
