1) I learned a new website for pixel art.
2) The most challenging aspect is drawing the pixels because it is my first time doing pixel art.
2) What I liked for the most part is doing this project. It was fun and exciting and new. And I am happy with the end result
4) I would definatley improve this project if I did it again.
The burger project is one of my first projects.
1) My unifying theme in my emoji's is activities and interest. I like coffee because it helps me wake up in the morning. I really like to listen to music because it makes me study and make me feel better. And I like to read sometimes whenever I'm not busy.
2) For the style consistent I used value for using the highlight on the heads. Form I used for everything from their heads and what they had on, holding, and drinking.
3) My inspiration for this emoji project is from my almost everyday activates. I also used Pinterest to help me for the reference.
4) Having my emoji is hard since they were all my favorite. But if I have to pick one, the headphones emoji because I really like music for the rhythm, the lyrics, and vibes. And plus I think I really like the end results with the emoji.
5) I don't really think people would misinterpreted the emojis since they are really simple and basic emoji's to understand. Maybe people would think the emoji with headphones is listening to a audiobook or a podcast. But I think since it's something simple, people can have their mind on it.
The color harmony that I picked was cool color schemes.
I think the colors work well because they really compliment each other. Blue and purple are right next to each other. And I chose a bright color so the colors don't be dark.
I don't think the colors work well because they are different patterns but the color helps them not look bad.
What I learned after completing this project was color schemes, patterns, and new websites.
What I found the most challenging about this project was putting the patterns on the model and dress.
My tattoo represents love and friendship. This symbolic tattoo represents me and my sister and our friendship. We recently passed by a tattoo shop and she liked this two ghost tattoo. A while back during 2021 she asked me for a tattoo. She lost a paper I drew the tattoo on, so now I recreate a new and improved tattoo. The most challenging and nerve racking thing was the marker. I didn't want to mess it up but I think I did my best.
I picked Arcadia bay from life is strange for my postcard. I picked this location because I think Arcadia bay is a place that is really beautiful and nice. I would this post card to any of my friends that enjoy to my friends who enjoy the game. I am actually really happy with my design, I am proud and I am happy how realistic it is also.
In my perspective, since I'm new to making gif. The most challenging part of this assignment was transitioning from moving the seagulls for each frame. I am happy with my results for this project. I did push myself the best I can into this project, even when I messed up and had to restart it. I demonstrated I tried my best by showing the amount of frames I did. The part I am most proud of are the seagulls that flew behind Taylor. I took me a long time to make them fly smooth and doesn't look so blocky. I did enjoy this assignment. But I did not enjoy the parts I had to almost redo everything. I was confusing and very draining. But I am happy I finished. If I had the chance to redo this assignment I would add more birds in the background.
I combined a blob fish and a monkey
I wanted to make the ugliest animal instead of making a cute one.
I think I'll call my new creation blob monkey
I wish it could, but it could die easily once put out into the wild. But maybe it would kill some animals, who knows.
It would show false information and it would spread, making it worse.
1. Reflect on your experience using the pen tool in Illustrator to create your landmark poster. What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
Some problems I encountered was using the pen cool and making the shapes I needed. And also my disorganized layers, but eventually at the end I did.
2. Consider the significance of the iconic landmarks you chose to include in your poster. How did you ensure that your representation accurately captured the essence and recognizability of each landmark?
I picked forks because I was a twilight fan in middle school and during summer this year, I went to Washington Seattle. And during my trip I went to forks where the book was based on. And so I decided to do that after thinking what places I have visited and I thought it would be perfect. I made sure people knew it was forks by putting the welcome to forks sign, Edward, bunch of trees, a wolf, and a little apple.
3. Describe the creative decisions you made regarding composition, color choice, and typography in your poster design. How did these choices enhance the overall visual impact and convey the intended message or theme?
Before starting, I started to brainstorm and take inspiration for my project. What it would look like and what things should be smart to put in. I made of bit changes of the amount of trees there is, and now looking back I think I should've put less.
4. Reflect on the process of translating a physical landmark into a digital artwork. What aspects of the landmark's architecture or cultural significance did you prioritize in your design, and how did you incorporate these elements effectively?
It felt like a bit of a struggle since it isn't exactly like the same of the place. But I took a lot of iconic features from forks and made it work. The important things were defilingly the welcome to forks sign and the trees since they are the most.
5. Consider the role of digital art in contemporary communication and expression. How does your poster contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding these iconic landmarks, and what message or narrative does it convey to viewers?
I think my poster is a pop culture that is well known from others. They will probably get nostalgia.
