My professional learning goals are to use the Science of Reading and LETRS strategies to teach phonics and reading skills, follow Utah standards, and help all 2nd graders become strong, confident readers. Another goal is to master how to teach all areas of phonological awareness this year! I also aim to efficiently analyze student data to inform individualized learning plans that meet each student's unique needs. Additionally, I am committed to innovating technology into classroom lessons by integrating education technology tools that enhance reading instruction, support student engagement, and provide adaptive learning experiences. By combining evidence-based practices with meaningful Ed Tech resources, I will create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
