I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Collaboration, working at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I earned my PhD in physics from UC San Diego in August 2020, where I worked with Prof. Alison Coil studying large-scale structure and galaxy evolution at intermediate redshift using both spectroscopic galaxy redshift survey data and empirical models of galaxy star-formation histories.
In a previous life I was a public presenter at the Morrison Planetarium at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
