Guest Lecturer
As a guest lecturer, I delivered comprehensive lectures on Catalytic Membranes in Drinking Water Treatment for the Advanced Water Treatment Technologies course. I provided insights about my reaserch to enhance students' understanding of this innovative aspect of water treatment.

As a teaching assistant, my duties include aiding in undergraduate courses in microbiology, advanced water treatment, and hydraulics for environmental studies. This involved grading assignments and exams for a class of 40 students, as well as providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their studies.

I had the honor to be awarded the Teaching Merit Award 2020 of Santiago Highschool!
2019-2020
As an International Baccalaureate science professor, I guided high school students through various courses including Environmental Systems and Societies, Physics, and Biology. It was a fulfilling role that allowed me to impart knowledge, encourage critical thinking, and facilitate growth in young minds. My main duties were:
Taught full-time high school students’ courses (75 min). Prepared lesson plans, lectures, and syllabi for each course.
Graded exams, IB examinations, and assignments, and provided feedback to students
Guided students in designing innovative environmentally friendly projects, investigating the impact of climate change on local ecosystems, and other impactful scientific work.
Contributed to the growth and development of young minds, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
Obtained a 3.93/4 average rating on the teacher-course evaluation.
Innovative Teaching During the Pandemic
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I had the opportunity to showcase my innovative approach to teaching through a feature in the local news.
By implementing dynamic online activities, I was able to prevent student burnout and boredom, ensuring a fulfilling and engaging learning experience for all. Check out the news feature here to learn more about my creative solutions and their impact on my students.

My teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is grounded in creating a dynamic, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students.
I believe in the power of interactive learning and use a variety of teaching techniques to keep students invested and excited about their learning.
Active listening is crucial to understanding each student's unique needs and creating a personalized learning experience.
Respectful teaching is a cornerstone of my approach, creating a safe and supportive classroom culture that values diversity and encourages open dialogue.
I am passionate about STEM education and strive to inspire my students to pursue careers in these fields, providing engaging and challenging learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the 21st century.
