I am a fourth-year PhD candidate at LIDAM, Université catholique de Louvain, supervised by Prof. Joseph Flavian Gomes. From October 2025 to March 2026, I was a visiting PhD student at the University of Cambridge, hosted by Prof. Sriya Iyer. I am also a member of the SCORE III team at the University of Cambridge. My doctoral research is funded by the prestigious FRESH doctoral grant, awarded by the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) in 2024.
My research uses big data and causal empirical methods to study Political Economy, Gender, Labor, Religion, Identity, and Conflict. In my dissertation, I analyze large household datasets to study how gender, religious identity, and political dynamics shape labor market outcomes in India. Additionally, I investigate how historical anti-drug bans spark conflict dynamics in Nepal.
