I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Business, Government and Economics at Seattle Pacific University. My research interests lie in the field of Development Economics with a keen focus on Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Specifically, I explore how extreme weather conditions affect agricultural production, market price, household migration, and health outcomes in SSA. My research also investigates topics in environmental economics, food security, labor economics, economics of education, agricultural technology adoption, and land access. I am also an affiliate of the Collaborative for Econometrics and Integrated Development Studies (CEIDS).

I received my bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics in 2011 from the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the Abomey-Calavi University (Benin) and I completed my Master’s degree in 2016 from the Department of Agricultural Food and Resource Economics (AFRE) at Michigan State University (MSU). I obtained my Ph.D. in 2022 in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (AAEC) at Virginia Tech (VTech)
