I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Business, Government and Economics at Seattle Pacific University. My research interests lie in the field of Development Economics with a keen focus on Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Specifically, I explore how extreme weather conditions affect agricultural production, market price, labour supply, education outcomes, and use of adaptation strategies such as livestock commercialization in SSA. My research also investigates topics in environmental economics, food security, labor economics, agricultural technology adoption, and land access. I am an affiliate of the Collaborative for Econometrics and Integrated Development Studies (CEIDS).
