Joint Subcommittee on Powered Micromobility

Subcommittee Purpose

The Powered Micromobility Subcommittee is a joint subcommittee of the TRB Committees on Bicycle Transportation (ACH20), Pedestrians (ACH10), Traffic Law Enforcement (ACS30), and Innovative Public Transportation Services and Technologies (AP020). Its main purpose is to explore emerging technologies and their relationship to roadway users, including pedestrians and bicyclists.

Subcommittee Members

Participation in the subcommittee is open to any interested individuals. The best way to get involved is to attend the subcommittee meeting at the TRB Annual Meeting in January or email the chair and ask to be added to the email list. The subcommittee is chaired by Calvin Thigpen of Lime, (calvin.thigpen@li.me).
